Camosun College

Learning Webs Registration Process

The Community Learning Partnerships Department offers online adult upgrading courses in partnership with community partners. The first course new students register in is Fundamental Computer Studies (Comp030). We can add other courses once you've completed the process below.

  1. If you're new to the college, complete a college application form. It’s available at http://www.camosun.bc.ca/admiss/app_form.pdf.
  2. If you need funding to pay the course costs, complete the ABESAP form. It's available at http://www.aved.gov.bc.ca/studentservices/student/sp/upgrade/ABESAP.pdf. The key to receiving funding is with the budget. As long as your total monthly costs including study costs exceed your monthly costs, you will have your course costs paid for.
  3. Take the above completed forms to the registration/welcome desk (Dawson Building at Lansdowne Campus, Campus Centre at Interurban Campus) and register in your class.
A reminder that our Fundamental level courses are offered in a blended mode, a combination of face-to-face and online, with the support of the community partners listed above. For more information contact the appropriate partner. They will help you with the above registration process.

Those interested in Intermediate level and above courses without partner support will find more information at the BCcampus website, http://bccampus.ca.
